We talk to executive producer Alyssa Finley about what you can do as the Big Daddy, how you can adopt or harvest Little Sisters, new ways to use and combine plasmids, and new details on some of the multiplayer modes.
it looks as though the little sisters will be like an inventory item when your a big daddy, were you just pull her out when you need to collect adam, or perhaps get into places the big daddy cant. hopefully they have a better boss battle(s), i felt the one in #1 was kind of weak.
the idea of became a big daddy is great, but really i donīt wanna be a nanny, in the first part was just a pain in the ass take care of the girls, i hope this get better on that part! =)
Can't wait to play as big daddy, this game rocks. The first game was awesome and this one looks even better. too bad I have to wait until Feb 2010
The thing I am going to like with this game is that you hold your left hand up and can just press LT to use Magic, in Bioshock "1" You have to press your hand up first then use the thing. :)
man i was glad till the end when she said "november 3rd" which made me more excited (thats my birthday) then i look over and it says "feburary 9 2010" :(
Hopefully this time the game will go a little lighter on the whole "Capitalism is bad, Socialism is bad" vibe that the first game had.
Good interview, lol he's not bored, he's trying not to seem like he wants to hit on Alyssa;) She knows he does. If I was executive producer on a game like Bioshock2, I'd be grinning like a maniac all day too!! The game looks great so far. Ew, what is all this green doing on this part of the website? Oh I see...:D
i cant freaking wait man i cant freaking wait oh and @fzaynoun go to hell this lady is working hard bringing us a awesome sequel for a awesome game.
This game is #1 on my list, I don't have a need to even see a review when this comes out, Can't wait Go for it 2K
I think it was good strategy of GameStop attaching the interview to the article about the newest release date. I liked the interview, both the questions and responses. They obviously know both games. It's definitely enough to whet my appetite for the sequel. I appreciated Ms. Finley's enthusiasm. I also loved the trailer; as a father, those little sister silhouettes still get to me!
@ doontime Lol FEAR Isn't scary. FEAR WAS scary back in 05 for like the first level or two. After that it was nothing. Only games I can honestly think of as being truly scary to me was the original silent hill..I think I was 13 at the time. And Dead Space was pretty freaky too. I'm really not looking forward to playing as the big daddies though...to me they were something that should be mysterious and be feared. Now thats gonna be gone because you are one.
haha dude this game was not scary at all...now Dead Space is pretty scary. Bioshock 2 is going to be sweet!!
Falco_648 and MasterChief004 she ment 10 years before!! she is just too nervous and can't talk right. Because think of this: how would they have the first big daddy prototype 10 years later? so that clarley means that she ment 10 years before
i played the the demo for the first one and i almost crapped in my pants. This looks even more scarier
Looks like its gunna be a really good sequel. I really hope the movie comes thru, this movie would be SICK. I hope it would have an R rating, if it was PG13 i dont think they would capture the darkness of Rapture and the Little Sisters,Splicers, etc. Imagine seeing the main character devouring a small girl. sweeeet...
I would really like to see how the multi-player would work out with this game & ive heard for universal there will be a big screen movie on bioshock hmmm i wonder if that would be coo!!
this sounds great and it will defenitely be an amazing game!, but i wonderin about the multiplayer. it could either be really great or really bad. it sounds interesting
lmao dat girl looks scary, and i cant wait for this, i just got beat bioshock one and i cant wait to play the second
I hope that they put as much thought into the story as they did the last. And didn't just decide to put most of their work on the multi player. Because I rly only want to play this game for the story, but a solid multi player wouldn't be bad I suppose.
gonna be bloody brilliant just like bioshock 1, i love what theyre doing being able to mix plasmids looks goddamn legendary!!!!!
this game looks decent but there is not much updated from the first one as far as graphics, also is it just me or do you people hate being stupid robots (or anything like robots) in games, it makes me feel too directed and ends up being too unsatisfactory
Wow that chick looks like her eyes are gonna pop out,but i still hope this game will live up to Bioshock1.Oh one more thing i discovered a hint to a sequel on the good ending of Bioshock1 you see 6 little sisters on top of atlas, but at the end when jack is old and is dying you only see 5 hands.
that chick looks like she's high on caps, she can't stop smiling and her eyes are all bugged out lol... I wonder how the multiplayer in bioshock2 will develop, hopefully it'll have some varied modes and unlockables or something.
