A thrill ride from beginning to end, Bionic Commando Rearmed is a sweet trip.

I never got the chance to play the original Nintendo game, but maybe now I wish I had because I really had to get used to the controls and not being able to jump. That's not to say this is a bad game. Far from it. This is one of the funnest PSN downloads I've ever experienced. For afficionados of the Nintendo game, you'd feel right at home here--the updated graphics are the icing on the cake. For newcomers, you'll definately want to run through the tutorials first to get a feel for how the game handles. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be whipping terrorist butt in no time.

For an action game, there's quite a bit of depth. The levels are enormously complex, and I love how the enemies crumple and fall like rag dolls when you kill them. You can even unlock tons of data for the database as well as some neat surprises for the upcoming Bionic Commando next-gen sequel such as .... well, I'll let you discover that for yourself.

A lot of buzz was surrounding this game, and I can say with certainty that it is well deserved. Fan or not, I encourage everyone to lend their bionic hands to this game. Worth the $10, and so much more.
