i'll bet there will be thirty characters at the start and dlc character packs later on, just wait, cause you know thats what they'll do.

remember. tekken 6 has 40 fighters. and in marvel vs capcom we're talking about tag matches here. c'mon. i am sure there will be more!

30 fighters?! I'VE GOT MORE CORN IN MY CRAP!! haha just kidding. thats abysmal, SFIV had 25 and i even felt that was short for a street fighter title. they better bump that up to at least 50. Oh and DC, this is how its done, not by pairing with mortal kombat, a franchise that lost its touch after mk trilogy

now thats dissapointing. expecting WAY more fighters than 30. although i kinda expected this. lets hope capcom pulls something out the bag and surprise us with at LEAST an extra 15 characters to bring it up to 45. at LEAST. yep... i'm hyped about the game... but part of that is because i am a huge fan of MVC2.... and one of the biggest selling points of that game is its HUGE array of fighters. c'mon capcom!!! i patiently wait for you to come through on this one. Graphics ARE looking good tho.

30 Fighters is a bunch of s**t! They better put more than that in, I mean after all it's one of the best fighting games in the genre!

Only 30 fighters expected? What the hell? There was 56 characters in MvC2. Capcom getting cheap again? Or should we just wait for SUPER Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Alpha 4th Strike Director's Ultra Cut Gold Edition to hit the shelves a year after?

Dude, seriously, Chris is as big as the Hulk with the steroid pool he has been swimming in. But I wouldn't be putting my money to much on that list. I mean it's possible, but some of those characters are from Capcoms recent Wii fighter, and where it isn't impossible for them to re-use some of the characters, I find it hard to beleive that would replace old favorites like Mega-Man or the Sentinel from Marvel for Frank West and She Hulk. Plus Marvel vs Capcom has ALWAYS had a massively extensive roster. I find it hard to believe that's it on both sides. If so, I'll wait to see if another version is coming out with more characters.

It's 30 so far with more to come later on, on joystiq.com they say that they are focusing more on quality than quantity but at the same time "fans are to be blown away by the sheer number of characters" I'm hoping for the 70's or so while not wasting space with characters like Roll or the Servbots.

My biggest concern is speed. I hope they keep it fast and arcade like. Not slow like Tatsunoko vs capcom Also... 30 characters? I was hoping for something more than 52. Although I guess I was hoping for too much in that case.
