Another very underrated game IMO.

Crop circles are Chuck Norris' way of telling the world that sometimes corn needs to lie the **** down.

Well, they're both published by Sega, are TPS, and have lots of robots.
That being said, it doesn't strike me as resembling it-gameplay wise- much. Vanquish is...it's just SO intense. This is more deliberate in it's pace, and is more "normal", I would say.

The concept reminds me of Vanquish. Yet the execution is more Mass Effect, especially after playing the ME3 demo not long ago...

They both have that clean futuristic look as well. Character models look interchangeable.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Man I thought I was going mad being the only who thought this every time these Binary Domain/Vanquish comparisons keep popping up. I'm like "did these people even play Vanquish?". It's like comparing Tenchu to the Ninja Gaiden games.

If you were to replace all the robots in vanquish with any other enemy (aliens, soldiers, etc) then Vanquish would be way less enjoyable.
I'm sure the same is going to be true with Binary Domain as well.
A huge part of it's charm is shooting ROBOTS in a futuristic setting.

I can see some of the concepts being vaguely similar... but the gameplay is nowhere near the level of Vanquish.

"What is it with SEGA and Robots?"
*shrugs* It's worked for Sonic all these years.
