Beyond Castle Wofenstein, despite it's simplistic graphics, was a thrilling stealth adventure game. Your goal is to sneak through Hitler's secret bunker, level by level, eventually finding Hitler himself while in a secret meeting, where he is discussing either genocide or sausages with his command staff. You then blow up the bunker, destroying everything, moustache and all. The game was great in that you had to sneak through the bunker, picking locks and avoiding Nazis. When you heard the dreaded "HALT!!!", you knew the Nazis were on to you, and it was really an exciting feeling because you pretty much knew you were going to get killed, but there was a chance of escape. You can also kill the guards in a stealth like manner. But if they see you first, forget it. This game is a true classic. If you have the means of playing it, I highly recommend it. It's a good example of how games have evolved from simple yet addicting games to the complex games of today.
