Special Achievement

Best Downloadable Content/Expansion

Downloadable content continued to become increasingly common in 2009 and afforded us opportunities to keep enjoying games long after we've purchased and played through them. DLC comes in all shapes and sizes, and while the content isn't always worth the asking price--or even worthwhile--we're frequently treated to add-ons that both expand and improve upon the original games, as well as give us compelling reasons to hang onto them long after we've watched the end credits roll. All of this year's nominees add to existing games, making them almost impossible to trade in by their postrelease content--both traditional new expansion packs for existing games and downloadable content for existing games were considered for this category, which is why you'll see both types of games here.

    Borderlands' first DLC was very good and just as long as a lot of retail games.

    im gonna go for fallout 3. each of those dlc's were awesome and were very different from each other and added something new to the table with each one. and if you buy both gta's at full price it would cost 40 bucks for that you can get 4 out of the 5 dlc for fallout 3. from my perspective while the additions in ballad of gay tony seem to be great they seem like things that should have been in the game in the first place.

    @Rockleelives If you want to play the "loyalty" card, I'll point out that the series was on the PC before it was on the PlayStation. Then Rockstar betrayed Bill Gates and ported it to the PlayStation. Obviously the betrayal stuff is a load of BS, but that was the actual order of things. See how stupid the loyalty and betrayal stuff sounds?

    Whilst i also liked FO3 dlc. You can not compare this to GTA4 TBOGT. Its not even in the same league. For me a couple of them were totally bland and not really that memorable except for Point Lookout. I guess I expected more.

    Im glad to see GTA dlc won. TBOGT was top notch.

    The dedication, thought and commitment to quality definitely shone through in this dlc.

    Fantastic missions and characters realy made this worth buying. Hugely enjoyable!

    No way should have fallout 3 WON

    The dlc packs were short and easy and only point lookout and broken steel added something. But still GTA IV GAY TONY WAS MIND BLOWING. Only people who say otherwise are just sony boys who are jealous.

    @Rockleelives
    What the hell are you talking about.

    Anyways, it was obvious who was going to win this. GTAIV's two DLC packs are an example for everyone else.
