Best Xbox 360 Game

If you get a bunch of GameSpot editors into a room to discuss the games they're most passionate about, you'll end up hearing some colorful metaphors (and other colorful language). If you try to get them to pick one winner from this year's amazing crop of Xbox 360 games, you'll invariably hear them compare the process to having to choose between their children (which most of them don't actually have). That's how good this year was for the Xbox 360. Let's take a look.

    I agree with this...Assassins Creed II is an amazing game with beautiful graphics and a lot of content..

    call of duty:modern warfare 2 should have been the winner.but,anyway assassin's creed sure is a great game.

    Lol you 360 owners really got a sh*ty deal this year. We got Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, and several others. And of course we recieved Metal Gear Solid 4 last year, which must be the greatest game ever made. O and Kubilius Call of Duty didn't make top 10 becuase it really isn't that amazing and because we got all our kick ass exclusives. So 360 owners just stop bragging about your overly-priced XBOX LIVE and just wait till you get a good exclusive other than Halo.

    Ouch, best Xbox game - Call of Duty ? It didn't make TOP10 on PS3, probably due to extremely crappy online play

    who cares if a "port" wins its videogames youre talking about if people wanted to buy a ps3 they would so arguing over the INTERNET about a videogame award on a website is pretty pathetic

    You know whats funny, 360's best game (as voted by an ever puzzling and almost always wrong gs) is a PORT. Same game for PS3, didn't win because PS3 exclusives are simply better (even though clearly, Uncharted 2 should have won. (UC 2 9.5, Demon's Souls 9) Did GS just get drunk when picking this? They gave it a lower score yet it won? Super Nerd Tards work at GS Now, sh*ts weak

    On the other hand, Assassin's Creed II is a massive improvement over the first game, and it does have a control scheme that makes full use of the Xbox 360 controls. Also, the graphics are pretty good, despite the aging of the Xbox 360.

    I am rather surprised Modern Warfare 2 didn't clinch this one. Despite the huge mobs of rabid fanboys of this game, Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360 is a very good game.

    Too bad the PC version is unforgivably hideous, which may have factored into GameSpot's decision on this one.

    Pathetic. Most of the 360 games in the running are multi plats. I hate to break it to you M$ but Halo 3 got old a while ago. Can we have something else?

    Wow. Where was Borderlands? Though nice pick for top 360 game. ACII is one of the best games I've played this year.

    thank you, losman01, i couldnt have said it better.
    but even being an xbox 360 owner, i have to admit that the ps3 definitely had better exclusives this year. the top 5 ps3 editorial nominees is the proof.

    These PS3 fanboys are ridiculous! That is why they don't include a headset with the system, all of them would drive each other nuts!
