The discussion for the Best Graphics, Artistic category took colorful twists and turns as the editorial team navigated its way through the torrential waters of visual expression produced in 2011. In fact, this year's nominees didn't have an easy time reaching their lofty position. GameSpot editors made strong cases for several feasts for the ocular senses, including The Witcher 2 and the downloadable sensation, Outand. And when the dust eventually settled, only five games remained for consideration. Needless to say, all of these games had a visual style that not only made them memorable in a year with so many memorable moments, but they also defined their respective experiences. After some shifty eyes, some mustache twirling, and a little bit of line dancing, a winner was finally declared.
