Flexibility has always been one of the PC's strongest features. Puzzle, role-playing, strategy, adventure, and action games all have a place on the PC, and they all have a place among our finalists. While we were heartbroken that staff-favorite To the Moon couldn't make it on the list, we honor its accomplishments elsewhere. Each of our entries offers something unique, and most can be further enhanced with mods and expansions you can't get anywhere else. With such a diverse selection, this is one of the strongest years that the platform has had in recent memory. Each entry is a gem, but which one shines brightest of all?

Portal 2 is a game everyone should play and I love it with all of my body, but it's so short and typical does it really deserve to be in the running?
with a large number of quests,bugs,mods and memes...I wasnt surprised skyrim would win...haha...
On the other hand, at least Dragon Age 2 wasn't even considered in the running. Ha ha, anybody remember that huge letdown?
Lame. The game is good but no way is it the best. Nowhere near as original as Witcher 2 or Batman.
So the most bugged game of all time just got Game Of The Year? What a terrible thing the gaming industry has become.
