The deliberations for the Action/Adventure category almost came to fisticuffs this year. Seriously, someone almost got punched in the face, and it wasn't even over the winner but, rather, which games should find a place in our pantheon of nominees. Shadows of the Damned and Assassin's Creed: Revelations were discussed, but ultimately, they didn't make the cut. After the dust settled, picking the ultimate winner wasn't easy. Feelings were hurt; pizza slices were consumed; and some team-building drills probably need to be scheduled in the future, but a clear winner emerged and will reign supreme in the Action/Adventure category...until next year.
