The deliberations for the Action/Adventure category almost came to fisticuffs this year. Seriously, someone almost got punched in the face, and it wasn't even over the winner but, rather, which games should find a place in our pantheon of nominees. Shadows of the Damned and Assassin's Creed: Revelations were discussed, but ultimately, they didn't make the cut. After the dust settled, picking the ultimate winner wasn't easy. Feelings were hurt; pizza slices were consumed; and some team-building drills probably need to be scheduled in the future, but a clear winner emerged and will reign supreme in the Action/Adventure category...until next year.

    @dajoelad I know how you feel. I am in no way a batman fan. I watched the cartoon a little bit when I was kid but thats about it. But I've played both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and you deff. dont need to be a fan of batman to still enjoy these two games.

    uncharted 3 what are you doing here?
    you should be at best shooter award
    gears of war 3 and uncharted 3 destroys bf3,mw3,crysis 2 and other shooters released thi year

    The best for sure!!
    Short main story, compensated with genious Riddler puzzles and interesting side missions.

    Sorry Uncharted fans...Uncharted was also good game but felt like more of the same with better cut scenes and cinematics to me. No real improvement in the game itself.

    Would love to get this game, but the problem is I already bought 10 games recently and only finished BF3's campaign. Why are there so many great games coming out, a person can only play so much???

    I dunno, I liked Arkham City at first, really liked it, but then it got boring and repetitive, and often annoying. I think either Deus Ex or Uncharted far more deserve it.

    Arkham City was great to play, but the story, for me, was a mess compared to the first one. Main story should've took up more than 20% of the game.

    I voted for Uncharted 3.
