Worst Use of a Great License
The games in this category are truly the worst of the best. They take beloved brands and transform them into be-loathed games. Even worse, they use your imagination against you. You see your favorite hero, athlete, or race car staring at you from the box cover, and can't help but picture the fun you could have in those boots, cleats, or wheels. But the following acts of alchemy turn heroes into fools, race cars into clunkers, and entire sports leagues into poorly run circuses. If this category had a mascot, it would be the angler fish: your favorite things dangling above the jaws of bad games. So read on with caution; the riches below are fool's gold.
