A terrible game and a total waste of time.
Beijing 2008 was a total waste of my time and my money. The events were not fun at all. Every single event available was either a button sequence or a button masher. I was afraid after the 100m sprint that my stick on my controller was going to break.
In theory, this game could have been a success. The Summer Olympics are always a big excitement for many games and this was the first for the new generation of platforms. The game offered many events but unfortunately, did not execute with the actual gameplay. For me, I believe there was not much thought put in this game. I can tell this because there is not many game modes or creativity in the game. Many events use the same type of system of playing. I would not recommend buying or renting this game.
