This is the hands down greatest game all time and I am hoping FFVII will come out soon its been years since they, but it is understandable the game was freakishly long.

I'm going to play the new FFVII as hard as I played the game as a teenager,with excitement and glee!

Honestly? This guy sounds very much like it's his first time ever touching this game, let alone an RPG, possibly even a game. He claims that all of this stuff is completely confusing and makes no sense so he's here to explain it to us, when it makes perfect sense and not once was I confused by this stuff. Seriously, we're not stupid. We're gamers, we've heard crazier things and understood them(try any Goemon game for perfect example, hell Metal Gear needs more of an explanation than this game). If we didn't understand this game, then why would we praise it so much????

final fantasy 7 was one of the best games i have ever played,i can't wait for final fantasy versus 13 but final fantasy 13 is a nice i have finished it.

They need to stop playing around and give us wut we want and thats a FREAKIN REMAKE OF FF7 dang FF7 was the best RPG game as u can see they made of movie out of it what other, FF game they made a movie of none ...........................none i thought so expect finale fantasy: spirits within that movie was lame oh and i can't 4get they made movies around FF7 as well they can't get enough of FF7 might as well remake it

I agree, the editing is a bit messed up, but it pretty much gets the message across. I'm ashamed to say I'm a '90s kid, and I've never played FFVII...!!!

I knew that, but the greatest thing about FF VII is that it pins Planet, Sephiroth, Shinra, and Cloud in an epic battle for survival. In the end Shinra looses(to Cloud and Sephiroth) And Planet, after trying to eliminate mankind(Shinra), allies with Cloud to save everything from Sephiroth.(EPIC)

FF is not really FF without Hironobu Sakaguchi, but i'm really want the remake so bad. Gameplay should be similar to FF7:CC

@mikey1611 I would start with 10. It is the first FF with voice acting and it is one of my favorite games of all time. Give it a chance and you will most likely come to love it!

FF7 is definitely one of the best FF series. There are so many FF series that has been remake like FFIV. So,why square enix don't release a remake for FF VII? I hope they will remake this game and i'm sure FF VII remake will popular

Now that i think about it we could use a sequel! Think about it! Cloud, Tifa and all the old gang with a new materia system!!! And everything on Ps3... I would love seeing good'ol-Cloud swinging his rusty Buster sword again 4 real... But thats just a dream :'(

You have your opinion, BUT we do want this game to come back on PS3 :) I played and Loved it and to see it on the PS3 :)

@ dantedemon92 i think that if the team on vs did it, it will be awesome. and yeah 12 wasnt that good. my ff was 10 and it was good. im playing 7 right now out of desperate measures. i vowed not to play until a remake is done. but, i dont really think it will come soon. didnt get past cd no. 1 so there still a chance to drop out.

the real reason why aerith's name was aeris in the original release is because, if you have ever watched anime, when the japanese try to pronounce english words like "thank you", their accent make it come out as "sahnk you" thus aerith would come out as aeris and that's where we got the localization error.

i feel as ff 12, and looks like ff 13 will be the same, are all themes of war, real life war ... need a change, ff10 was cool and great to play with a great story line just because it had somethign diffrent in it, SIN, The FAITH or even blitzball, those kind of things. FF7 story line, totally unreal, somethign you would have never came up with. cloud.. 2 personalitys. i would like to see a remake one day.

i have an idea... lets send an email to Square-Enix, requesting one ... or a sequel to it. That might work.

I think Steve Burton does a good Cloud. In Crisis Core and Advent Children. As for Vincent to find out some stuff about him play Dirge of Cerberus. DanteDemon92 is right he's not a Vampire.

I'm with DanteDemon92 on this one. I really want a remake but I'm afraid that SE would mess it up. The past 7 or 8 years they have made some really crapy games. all they are worried about is the graphics and lack on a story. If not a remake then why or why cant they make a game sim? something with the same kind of battle system and the way you leveled up your magic. besides FF10 (not FF10X) all the FF games have sucked after 7. 8,9,10X,11,12 where just awful. 9 left such a bad taste in my mouth I havent bought a FF since, and I'm glad I didnt waste any money buying them.

A remake could either be amazing or catastrophic. Im afraid Square Enix will want to mess with what Squaresoft did, like changing the battle system or making Cloud super-mega emo like he was in Advent Children. I find it hard to trust Square Enix after the atrocity that was FF12 (sorrys fans, but many many people, me included, thought it was terrible). If they do remake it, just redo the graphics, add some cool looking cutscenes, and gets some good voice actors (preferbly some better than the ones in Advent Children). If they do it, I really hope Square Enix doesnt screw it up Btw, her original name was Aerith in Japan. When it was released in the U.S., there was a translation error and her name became Aeris. Square realized it sometime after the release of the game and used the name Aerith in all other games she was present in.

There are two ways of saying her name. Aeris and Aerith. In America, it originally came out as Aeris and then they re-released it, her name was Aerith. I don't know why but that is truth. I owned the originally copy and then I bought the greatest hits version because my girlfriend decided it would be funny to destroy one of my favorite games. *sigh* Anyway, this video didn't explain crap. He just said some random stuff about the series. He hinted that Sephiroth was injected with Jenova's cells but didn't actually say "Sephiroth was the first to be injected with Jenova's cells and he was a confused child." lol. Which is true. Sephiroth is awesome but completely confused. :-)

What's he mean that FF7 didn't make sense? It was such a simple story line and FF doesn't need make sense. Sephiroth was evil, Cloud wasn't and so him and Barret decided to kick his ass, what more do you want? Also FF7 has the greatest cut scene ever, where Sephiroth is burning Nibelaham down and he was walking through the flames OMG I love that so much!
