I like it. But every reviewer cant always agree.

I myself have waited for this game for about 5 years when I first had learned of its existence wile overseas in Hong Kong. I like the song list because it is what the game is supposed to be about., cheesy j-club and American pop rip-offs. I do wish that the songs were longer than what they are. Overall I feel that without more recognizable songs in the track list, the american populous will not appreciate the music in the game. The controller is great and is very responsive. I agree with the Gamespot reviewer that the controller does not give you a "true dj feel," but it is a 50.00 piece of plastic and not a 400 dollar Technic SL MKII turntable that actually plays records.
People tend to be very critical if a game does not compare to what is currently on the market and this is a case of that since Guitar Hero has been out for some time now people want the feel of actually doing something relative to the idea being promoted by the game. Konami might have had a better chance calling this game sample mania, since the keys on the controller are very similar to the buttons on sampling machines.
Overall, I like this game, and I do appreciate that when you press a button that is not supposed to be pressed, The corresponding sound will still play and not just a generic mess-up sound like in guitar hero. And for me, its fun.
