While not perfect, this is one of the best games of its generation. It's a "triple-A" title if I ever played one.

Lark Anderson slices and dices his way through this Bayonetta video review.
Took a ps3 version from a friend to compare. Oh it's really terrible, abysmal framerate, blurry textures and overall washed out look destroy all the fun.
i played this on the 360 in 2010 and it was epic! I now have a PS3 rather than 360 and grabbed this game again, still great but the technical issues can really be a pain!
Well if the game transitioned from Xbox 360 then it makes sense that it would look grainer, no? I do know that the problems of load times and lag problem was fixed due to them allowing you during an update, to install the game into your hard drive. I can't wait to find this game and play it to death.
I've just bought this game, plus, Dead to Rights: Retribution for about 27 $. A great bargain! -- I know, they're cheaper in the US right now, but I do not live there.
Ok I just picked this up for the PS3 and have to say I see none of the issues Lark complained about. Maybe because the first thing that happened is it was updated and I chose to install it to HD. Either way it's a really interesting game. I've only been at it an hr but it was a very enjoyable hr.
Wow, I'm impressed, not with the game, altho that looks awesome, but with Lark, an excellent reviewer. If only the rest of the team was as professional as he is.
Its funny how Sony was so proud to say their PS3 is so much more powerful than the Xbox yet 2 games out of 3 works better on Xbox ...
Sega?? Awww man this game is gonna suuu- W-wait....D-did...P-P-Platinum Games...Develop it...? THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST GAME EVEEEERR!!
Really great game, it's very addictive, lots of fun to play, love Bayonetta is a great character with a great attitude :)
Is it just me, or does this game seem like a bunch of drag queens killing demons? HAHA Looks fun though.
button bash pulling of cool moves is good but when you want to do a specific move or combo its harder. thats what kills the fun for me , everything else is fine
Time to go VROOM!!!! This has to be the best game of the year. I mean the unlockables alone make it worthy of the title.
@Crazyguy105: Do I need an account in Sony Playstation online to download that patch? I'm in a contry where Sony doesnt support Playstation network (thank god they brought it here anyway).
@KH_Nerd: The PS3 version got a patch up several months ago which destroys the load times and some of the framerate problems. It is far better than it was when it was first released.
@Lexaeus775 :P I haven't opened mine yet just because I figured that i should be able to find it there cheaper now.
all the boss design from the intro to the end were the stupidiest i ever seen.. but they were very powerful and i have so much fun beating them. bayonetta is pretty though..
