Battlestrike: A pale shadow of some of the better world war era shooters

User Rating: 4 | Battlestrike: Shadow Of Stalingrad PC
Well i wrote this review keeping in mind that this is a budget priced game....

Good:
-levels are mostly dark(depends if you like a dark setting or not)
-sometimes it takes a substantial amount of ammo to kill an enemy and they do seem to fight back a lot
- AI is average at best

Bad:

-The graphics arent upto satisfactory levels and the level of details also lets down
-The gameplay is nothing compared to other world war era fps games(call of duty, medal of honor). even these relativley older games boasted of a much intense and exciting package
- shooting isnt like a first person shooter game and at best you can describe the weapons to be average.
-the accompanying soldiers are more nuiscance than any help and takes away the fun ...if there is much ...out of the game
-nothing much to mention about the sound effects
- it tries to recreate some classic moments of fps games(call of duty) but fails miserably
- you never feel like you are in a war zone....levels are kinda dull for a world war era game

Well got to admit this game doesnt have much going in its favour even for a hardcore FPS fan like me....to be honest you are better of playing some older but solid world war era game for the same price than this....
