Battlestations: Pacific Epic Battle Trailer (Xbox 360)

They show too many cut scenes in this video. I don't care how good your pre-rendered stuff is, i want to see the game that i'll be playing.

This game looks pretty good. I don't usually play these kinds of games (im not so good at them) but this one might be worth a try.

Sargint, you seem to be forgetting about the fast battleships. Any of the battleships after the North Carolina class were concidered "fast" battleships due to them being much faster than the pre-WW2 battleships that were in the last game. The CVs could make 32 knots at the time but the battleships could only hit 21 knots until the North Carolina class which could make 26-28 knots. The Iowa class could run from 31-35 knots which could keep up with even the Essex class CVs.

BS franchise has come a long way since midway can probably see a few flaws which although annoying is natural nothing can be perfect as for this footage its 80% gameplay easy to tell 1 from the game footage and in-game cgi scenes it looks incredable new aircraft updated naval units 3d tac-map will be looking fwd to it only biggest beef i had about accuracy is ship speeds dd's good 40kts was avrg for a dd during ww2 bb's way to fast compared to cv either 1 had to be twinked coz bb's are slower than cv's most cv's during ww2 had 25-30kts CA were fine 28 compared to the avrage ww2 speed of 25 -35 kts bb's were the biggest problem yes 25 knots was good but if that speed is to remain increase cv speed during ww2 battleships were not present with cv task force's becoz they were too slow cv speed 28 bb speed 23kts would make the balance issue proper otherwise cv 25 bb 20

looks crazy good, like battle stations midway but with a graphics upgrade and also the + of NOT HAVING TO BE THE AMERICANS EVERY DAMN WW2 GAME. looks like a good 8/10 game

anyone know the ranger of the ships guns ? I got Midway when it came out and was looking forward to it, but once in game it was a let down. Nothing more than lining up your ships less than a mile from each other and having a slug fest. I was expecting a to sight ships in the distance and open up with my BS but no, you had to wait until you were less than a mile apart before your guns would work. Is this going to be the same ?

This looks good but im betting it wont work good with my computer. I wonder what i should get Empire:total war or Battlestations: Pacific. Hmm what do you all think.

Being a fan of BSM since launch day! & still play it often, Can't wait for BSP to arrive! the 3D map interface is a vast improvement & looks superb, Ive given BSP a 9.5 already & that's my own score! well done Eidos & I cant wait, that's why Ive invested in a 42lcdhdtv1080 @ 100hz, especially for this title.... I think there is a lot of gameplay in this video,not just pre-render and cutscenes, and it looks really awesome!The first one didn't have the best graphics, but this looks like real next-gen! I want it right now ! :)

Battlestations: Pacific looks like a big step forward since Midway came out. Hopefully GameSpot will think so too, come 2009...

1st one wasn't the best game this looks like a bit of an improvement hope to hear more

Looks very cool, but what I really want to see is gameplay videos, trailers and cutscenes don't give me a lot of hype.

This definetly looks pretty cool, but I don't remember the planes in the pacific having rocket propelled missiles. Of course, I wasn't there or anything, lol, and I realize the need for creative liscence sometimes. Anyways, I'm looking forward to it.

The graphics are looking as amazing as the gameplay, can't wait!
