The sequel to "Battlestations: Midway" keeps the spirit of it's predecessor, corrects most of it's flaws, and brings a lot of new content!
I must start by congratulating Eidos Hungary, which took the user feedback from "Battlestations:Midway" into account, and delivered this awesome game! It isn't perfect yet, but it surely is one step closer.
This game truly excels in it's Multiplayer aspect, packed with 5 different modes of gameplay, each of them very distinct and incredibly entertaining, specially the 'Island Capture' mode, in which you get to control all the types of units in the game, on sessions that may take from 30minutes to 2hours of gameplay.
If you've already read reviews of this game, or even user comments, you must have faced the "terrible voice acting issue". That is true, and especially the Japanese, which almost sounds offensive, is excruciatingly bad. But the sound in general is quite good, all the explosions are quite... explosive!
The graphics are also a huge upgrade from the previous game; and you'll notice it as soon as you start playing. The good thing is, that, although the graphics are very good, it doesn't take a lot for your machine to properly run this game!
The strategy part of the game is a bit poor, as you only make good use of the tactical map on bigger battles; but in those cases, it is a must, as big battles easily get chaotic!
It will take you some time to learn the basics of the game, but it is very intuitive, the tips that keep appearing are VERY useful, usually reminding of certain things, and the tutorial is very complete.
For everyone seeking a great Multiplayer experience, aswell as a good Singleplayer challenge, this is the game for you!
