I played the demo of Battlestations Midway ages ago and being a military history student thought i'd give this a go. I saw the posts of various forums advising people to rent before they buy and foolishly didn't heed th... Read Full Review

Don't be fooled by the demo!

The air missions are great, but unfortunately they aren't the focus of the game at all (despite being almost all of the demo. Most of the time you will be control ships that move across your tv screen at about 1 inch per... Read Full Review

A nice change of pace from other historical shooters.

I like shooting big guns and there's nothing like shooting a 15" salvo from an Iowa class battleship. I played Battlestations:Midway but Pacific is a great improvement. First of all, there is no cheesy story line of t... Read Full Review

A game that reaches out and just keeps pulling you back for more...

When I first installed the game I was expecting a 10 to 20 hour blast into the past WWII navy game. It in fact was that and a whole lot more... First off I was disappointed that it didn't use my Saitek X52 joystick! Th... Read Full Review

Battlestations Pacific is a welcomed change of pace from the all too common war games released recently.

I'm still playing this game after completing the Japanese campaign and moving on to the American one. So I just decided to write a review so more people can get to know about this neat little game. First of all, the g... Read Full Review

Midway was good, but short, this is more of an excellent game, with more content. Very nice.

From the game play perspective, not a lot has changed since BattleStations Midway, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. My only issue with Midway was that it was too short, and there weren't enough multi-player maps.... Read Full Review
