The graphics are something that were revolutionary for it's time and the loading times were short as hell, even between pre-rendered and in-game gameplay. Seriously, some games today still has longer than 3 second pauses between rendered and pre-rendered gameplay (RE5 to point out one, PSP games to point out another (less of a problem on the slim)). The controls are... ih. There ok and fiddly but this doesn't really affect gameplay because thankfully, when running on a PSP, I just had the d-pad use all the boring inventory crap, the stealth button as triangle, shoot as sqaure and use as circle. Back to the game. The sound and voice-acting can beat most games today because you can see the emotion in the voices and also the simple facial expressions, show why we loved that era of gaming. Now let's get onto the next point. The camera is very well placed sometimes and other times it's plain stupid. But they choose the most effective ones so you can see what your doing. Up close and personal, the textures look good and unpixelated, but they would because this game is awesome.
What bad things are there here other than Resident Evil Controls and camera angles. It's short for a 4 disc game, but it's a good 4 disc game. Thankfully it is like Metal Gear Solid, but unlike MGS, the cutscenes do NOT last 1 hour and there is more gameplay to movie ratio. Overall, this game is worth a try, but if you stick with it, it's very very fun and rewarding.
