A 9.3, it's explosive and funny just like "In the Army Now"

Bad Company is a fantastic game that is very overrated for some reason. This game adds a great feature that many games have failed to create well, destructible environments. You can literally blow a whole through the wall if you're too lazy to use the door. Buildings are destructible as wells as vehicles, trees and small huts. The story is actually pretty good its like an action comedy since the characters are always cracking jokes and doing stupid things, that make you smile and sometimes laugh. The story follows four soldiers who are thrown in to a platoon. They are essentially the rejects of the army, they are expendable. They come across some gold in a mission and after hearing about a secret stash of mercenary gold they start to chase after it. They story is pretty basic but has potential for a sequel, which is already is in development. The sound quality is one of the best I've ever heard next to MGS4. With surround sound it feels like you're actually shooting the M16 and ducking for cover. One more weird thing about the game your platoon is invincible, they can't die like you it's pretty ridiculous but sometimes helpful.

On to the multiplayer. Just as the singleplayer the online multiplayer is explosive and destructible. The only bad thing is almost every map is way to big, without a vehicle running from one side to the other can take a few minutes. Other than that the online is fantastic sometimes better than Call of Duty 4 because its more explosive. Running from one building to the other while being in the middle of tanks shooting each other and mortars falling s pretty intense. It's very fun and explosive. The online also has a really interesting award system for accomplishing certain objectives. For example shooting down 25 helicopters, 2 road kills, destroy 1000 objects, 5 kills with a rocket launcher etc. These awards will keep you busy while trying to make it to rank 25 and getting all the in game trophies. One thing you should kno is if you want to get a platinum in this game it won't be easy. There are two extremely tough trophies, 10000 kills and obtain all 119 awards. If you're committed with time you can get it but it will take a lot of motivation.

I recommend this to any first person shooter fan or someone who likes action and comedy. It's greatest hits now for $30 and you can probably get it for $20 at Walmart. Plenty of people still play it, so give it a try.
