He's hiding behind that wall in the building? Shoot that RPG and pwn him and the Building!

First of all, I have to say that I am not even a fan of first person shooters. Yeah I play them but I like other genres just as much or more. People are comparing Modern Warfare 2 with Bad Company 2...well in my opinion MW2 just got blown out the water on this one. Bad Company 2 has an involving and highly addictive campaign that's fun and full of satisfying action as well as some humor to go along with it. It is full of videos and an interesting story behind the battles in an effort to prevent World War 3. Unlike Modern Warfare 1 or 2, the campaign is pretty lengthy which is good for people that either can't play online or suck online.
Online play is probably the best part of this game. You pick between four classes.
Assault, which is your run and gunner and is good at killing the enemy,

Engineer, who is as good at fixing a vehicle as he is destroying one as well as being a strong gunner.

Medic, who you will need in your crew since he is the only one that can heal you since you don't regenerate health in the multiplayer.

Recon, who snipes...and snipes hard with his leaf covered armor and can destroy enemy takes with c4.

Vehicular combat is rediculous with either fighting on air, land, or water making the match even more chaotic than ever. Extreme destruction is a nice welcome to the games realism. If someone keeps shooting you and you know he's behind that window in the building across from you, you don't have to worry about running in there and getting stabbed or gunned down, just shoot your RPG at the wall, open up the area so you can see him or it might even take him out with the wall. By the end of the match, your area has become a wasteland with destroyed buildings and cars set ablaze.

Summary:
The game has an awesome campaign thats full of videos involving you in the story and hilarious partners that make war a little more appealing. Vehicular combat adds variety to the online play and destruction is always welcome! Even if you don't like the genre, this game would be a good one to add to the collection if not for it's online play, for it's campaign. Masterpiece.
