Why is this game so dead?

Its to bad too since I think its better then BF3. Its a shame I can still get full games of MW1, 2 and Blops but then the best of each series, world at war for CoD and Battlefield 2 BC2 here are basically not worth playing anymore on multi.

because people only think new games are worth playing.
I like BC2,but it feels very dated and very clunky compared to how smooth BF3 feels.
I liked the maps more in BC2 however.I'm glad I got Karkand for BF3 free because that thing isn't worth a penny >__>

What a shame. Best Game ever.. I played last night and there were 4 people in the entire game... Know what? it was still more fun then BF3 for the 20 mins i played...

they tried to make BF3 too much like COD....
too many prone campers with their damn famas+foregrip+silencer
or a whole team camping with their usas 12 gauge shotguns w/extended mags and frag rounds.thats the mlg combo right there...if they're support,they can just keep throwing themselves ammo...

Every game has an OP combo that eventually gets patched. M60 Mag ammo anyone? And let's not forget the AN-94, and the no skill noscoping.

I agree that BF3 is better, but for.me its not fun at all. I just hate playing it because I never have fun playing it. I put BC2 back in a few nights ago and ya it does feel a little dated compared to 3, but I still enjoyed it.

Seems to depend on the time of day a lot more than usual since BF3's release. I can still find games that are up to 8 on 8 or so sometimes.
As for my take on BF3, the actual Battlefield series and the Bad Company series are pretty much two different things, and I was expecting radical changes, but JEEZ. Some of the stuff they can pull on BF3 just makes it very unfun for me.
The FAMAS, the Frag Rounds on shotguns, Claymores, going prone, flashlights than can blind you even in daylight from 10-20 paces (how bright are those things anyway!?).... And my personal favourite: If you didn't constantly nab jets when the game first dropped, don't bother now. You're stuck with guns that take getting used to, while everyone else has heat seekers and all this other junk.....
BC2: Quality over quantity.

Well dang. I came on here hoping to see people still playing this game but I guess not. Really dissapointed in BF3. BC2 had some cheap weapons (yes I remember the infamous M60) but it is not anywhere near as bad in BF3. Half the maps are too big for 24 players as well, I can really tell that it was ported from a larger PC version.
Oh well. Heres hoping BC3 comes out sooner rather than later. Either that or EA puts BF3 on steam (I refuse to deal with Origin).

You move on the objective and bushes open up on you. Honestly reminds me of MW2...

I really don't like Battlefield 3.. I've put about 40 hours into it. I haven't played the game in nearly a month and I don't really care to again. It's a shame, I was looking forward to this for so long and it turned out absolutely nothing like what I expected. It might be ok on PC, but I think it really stinks for consoles and I think it's because BC2 was built ground up on console while BF3 was made for the PC and it really shows. Graphics are mediocre, maps and textures are bland as hell and just not fun to play on. It does feel more like COD than BC2 ever did. The maps just sucked in BF3. I had so many HOLY AMAZING HELL moments in BC2 but I really haven't had any at all in BF3.. It's just not the same anymore.
Bring on Bad Company 3. BC2 feels more like a Battlefield game than BF3 does..

I only play rush but I find that if I choose specific maps such as Valparaiso, Port Valdez, and Arica Harbor that I tend to find fuller matches than just searching all maps. Also, I play at different times, whether it's 2 a.m. or 2 p.m. I have about the same luck.
