Take a look at the Frostbite engine in this trailer featuring Patrick Liu, producer for Battlefield 3, and Steve Anthony, senior producer for Need for Speed: The Run.
It's amazing how you can have the same old hardware (consoles) and significanlty improve their graphics just by using better engine software.
thid NFS game is AWESOMEEEE!!!!! I think they could of done alot better with the movie graphics though.
Pretty cool. Beats the COD Quake 3 Arena Engine. (Someone told me COD engine is based off of Quake 3 Arena. :P) FB2 is amazazing.
