@Tyreeceholmes ... "@DeanCorleone "BFBC2 feels a lot more realistic in all aspeccts" Does the realism stem from standing on a flag for so many seconds or does it come from the snipers cool down period in between on call mortar strikes in any location he can see with binoculars? Alot more realistic compared to DigDug, but that's it. But leave it to the speds to throw their "this is so real i know because i've played alot of video games" card into the hat. Silly kids." ... wow your only real point was that standing on a flag for a bit is unrealistic. I've done a bit more then played video games brat. ;) Next time read a bit closer also - look at the quote. It feels MORE REALISTIC - when compared to CoD as a warfare game... I enjoy the hard work thats been put into battlefield, and will always enjoy it over call of duty - I simply enjoy WAR games as compared to what feels like a arcade style fast past FPS. I never thought I'd hear someone complain about buildings being destructible. Awkward that you've got so many thumbs down replys in here - you should probably keep responding.

Guy Cocker catches up with Patrick Bach, Executive Producer at DICE, to talk Battlefield 3
It's incredibly annoying when people flame about this and MW3. At the end of the day you can't dispute that Battlefield is becoming innovative and the game play is varied whereas MW is basically the same stagnant game. So stop flaming and just accept it. Nobody's going to hate you for playing either game and accepting the flaws of that game and the successes of the other. Crazy people ha ha ha...it's not even that serious. :P
I love Both I buy BF3 and MW3.we just want to play a good game we dont want tell BF3 in better or MW3 in better
@Tyreeceholmes if you don't like battlefield then dont play it..nobody is forcing you to play and nobody is interested in what you have say, honestly NOBODY CARES..piece of advice bro you should play half life or counterstrike instead, it suits you better.. OR if you want go F*CK a dog, maybe that will satisfy you!!! PS. And if you're really that good why not create your own f*cking game..dude grow up..
Well, things of this game i don't agree with... Faction specific weaponry, this means that there are going to be less dynamic weapons for the sake of balance. Meaning the modern army (aka army that isn't throwing dirt clods in real gear) won't have a realistically substantially superior job-specific weaponry vs the versatility/reliability of the foreign hordes..This would lead to imbalance issues on maps quite easily so these "equivalent weapons" will behave similarly. First person animations will result in a bunch of idiots standing around doing nothing but animations... The fire suppression aspect has the potential for sever misuse and abuse unless they really specify what situations will cause this suppression effect,,, The blinding flashlight better not work on well lit levels, or will DICE deem "somewhat lit" the same as dark meaning people running around that can see fine and don't feel a flashlight necessary because it wouldn't be realistic will get blinded..And will there be clear visible trails from the beams... The fire mode changes from semi-burst-auto will cause a sever imbalance from modded controller users putting all auto/strong weapons to semi and benefiting from the added grouping accuracy. Death from falling debris will lead to a substantial amount of cross map explosions and spawn kills when spawning in/around a building.. That's just what i have thought of thus far based on the released info

Sounds like Tyreeceholmes just had his helo stolen from him on BFBC2 or something, what a negative nancy. I enjoy BFBC2 to this day, I've grown tired of the small enclosed levels of MW, BFBC2 feels a lot more realistic in all aspeccts but the game retains a high entertainment value. MW is the same crap, over and over, and I've owned them all and played them all a lot. I keep finding myself going back to BF hands down, this next MW might be the first one I DON'T buy... good looking game BF3, the guns aren't "undersized"...
Also...in terms of visuals alone....The weapons look terrible...the characters and maps look great, but the weapons look awful and undersized.. ... Stop bi***ing about Mw3 vs this...seriously...Don't act like you won't play both or you're "too good" for the other brand. You sound like a bunch of losers.
arguing about 2 video games all but proves you're a virgin...Good job nerds.. Battlefield is team work....but guess what? most people who play it aren't good, much like Bad company2 most of your vehicles will get stolen the other half will get piloted by idiots who crash it, no one will work as a team...etc etc.. So while a few of you have a "close group you play with regularly" AKA Nerd-coalition...The rest of the world of casual gamers will get a horrible team experience much like home front bad company 2...And Battlefield 2 on a private server, except now we don't have to worry about the overweight loser admins that sit in their moms basement all day.
@biel_fischer Same damn stuff we've seen for the last 5 years. A couple new attachments and perks, new crappy maps, same graphics and gameplay, still glitchey, still going to suck and be completely overrated. Last good COD game was WaW, while the last Great one was COD4
if you like battlefield 3, you might love this mw3 video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtOFYYOICUo
@SirReel Agreed, I'm still playing Battlefield 2 (from time to time, now im playing BC2) it was the only home for me because I've always been involved with team work oriented games. With COD on any objective map people seem more interested about their K/D then the actual objective that will win the game. I've come a generation of gamers where you could go 1000 kill and 1 death and lose the game and that will be considered no where near a success on any level, where as if I go 1 kill and 1000 deaths and contribute to my team the best way i can and win the game, well then thats victory. K/D is worthless on games, makes people too self concious, you respawn for a reason which is why I always go balls to the walls in every match or rush or conquest. If you win, you win..theres no equal.
COD games are retarded (and/or for children who have no idea what team work is). The battlefield games have consistently beaten COD on game play. COD game play promotes camping, point whoring, loners/losers. While BF games have always required team work to excel and win.
Wow, this actually looks better than MW3 Surprisingly. Pleaes, you can thumbs me down, but it doesn't change how awesome this game looks.
You can keep your cod... I just can't wait to blast the floor of some skyscraper under half a dozen wookies with c4 >
Love the way they have sas people showing them what to do instead of some cigar smoking yank :) Honestly though, people are talking as if this will be better than cod, its all just talk and there is nothing to show that this will be a better game than mw3. The fact that activision can treat you all like crap is because so many younger people play on consoles and will buy all the dlc and pay for anything cod related because the game is so big and all their friends play it. But dont think for one second that EA wouldnt start doing the same if battlefield was as popular as cod is. You have got to understand that this is big business, and what is business about? Keeping people/fans happy? Or making money? Erm... Anywho, I hope BF3 gives cos some proper competition but they are only gonna do that with the multiplayer element so get all the single player/story nonsense out of your heads. Keeping people playing is what its all about nowadays.
im starting to get excited about the fact that this (b4 its even released) the new fps to franchise... can u imagine battlefield 4 on next gen... drool!! :)
MESSAGE FOR PATRICK BACH: You focus on the development of making the best Battlefield game ever and you let us (the consumers/media) tell how much more better/complete Battlefield will be over COD. Well said sir
bfbc is better than any cod objetively, and dice didnt released it to compete, they did it because they have to release something while technology wasnt ready for bf3, and to ry destruction and more modes and things, also bringin bf for the first time to consoles
Actually, BF is better than CoD only in BF2142 and BF2. The BFBC 1 and 2 are some what a little bit imitate CoD cause CoD release before BFBC and suddenly become attractive so EA want to compete with that and launch the BFBC series which is only focus on individual shooting game just like CoD. The thing that make BF (not BFBC) much better than CoD is that we play on a whole battle field with the important role of armored vehicle and air force. And I hope that EA didn't make the same mistake in BF 1943 which is totally off the BF series.
these guys seem like real professionals. I really like this guys attitude too. For me BF2 is the best FPS MP game out there and I think BF3 is going to be even better.
really impressed with everything that dice is doing to make this the best battlefield game to date! time to upgrade my video card!!
Suppressing fire? Shooting out lights? Full building destruction? Amazing visuals that do more than just look pretty? This is the game that FPS players have been waiting for since BF1942 came out.
@rvons00 in terms of quailty Battlefield has always been better, popularity CoD mainly because of all the little kids that just want to run and gun without using there brain
The only thing i don't like about what i have heard for BF3 is that there is going to be team deathmatch i wish they would not put that in Battlefield has always been objective based only really wish they were not putting that in.
One thing I hope doesn't change from BC2 to BF3, the control scheme. Or if it does change, please give me the option to map each button individually. Thanks Dice.
