1 Like i think this an awesome map pack for xbox 360 (and shouldn't be compared to CoD), because of the 24 player limit, which kind of sucks on big maps.
I see this as being nothing more than a knife fest for the "closet hackers" that plague this game.......thanks but no thanks
Wow gamespot, I have to say, I don't know if it is the gamespot web player or just this video, but the framerate makes it look fantastic!, keep up the good job!

after the patch i found close range combat to be so unfun then we get a close quarters map pack
when I heard about this "close quarters " idea, my first thought was "ugh now dice is going to make maps a la DoC" but now that I see this I have to say it looks pretty interesting, I just hope dice realize that the more destructibility they add the better.
1 Like @devastion913 i remember those time playing nelson bay, when our defending team murdered every single living tree and blow up every single houses till the battlefield is literally flat. The attacker had to use C4 to make trenches for cover... lol
@eBunny7 I m not hating CQC if i could blow every square inch of cover and possible level the whole building to ground zero with C4. I hate campers, so the only way is to bury them in rubbles

Guys in real life people do fight in cq so stop complaining, it is not cod it is real life. (not really because it is a video game)

@devastion913 as for my taste. BFBC2 was the better game than BF3. Complete enviroment destruction, it elimates camping. And i dont know whats on DICE mind right now, going CQC with just cosmatic destruction. this dlc is a complete waste of time.
That type of destruction is just pleasing to the eye! A really good trailer DICE! Hopefully they release a map pack of maps from BF:BC 2 and 1... Those maps were awesome.
Mostly all I see are comparisons to Call of Duty. In a way these maps resemble some from CoD, but the destructibility should make it an entirely different ball game.
Tht was super cool! Love the 2kills wth snipe, and maps too, btw love the damages done by bullets in the trailer, like papers on the air. Looking up for this1, I found this better thn cod maps though.
An entire map pack of COD formulaic maps. This one will be a wait and see. It's the next two I'm excited about.
I still like BF:BC2 better. I don't know if it was the overall design , the lack of a true hardcore mode, or the influx if trashy COD players that turned me off of BF3 but something still irks me about this title.
@y3ivan true that. haven't played cod mp since world at war, not that that i wouldn't want, but because i have better games to buy. but yeah, the maps in BF are larger and more strategic.
@xsonicchaos COD camp a lot too. The difference is that BF3 have more places to camp and pick of enemies 1 by 1
Wow, that is *very* CQ. Just doesn't quite seem like Battlefield. Still looking forward to it, though.
@Mom_said_no dude, they're being flexible. cod fans criticized BF3 for being too campy. at least this proves they're wrong.
This only proves that however ludicrous it may sound, CoD's formula still is relevant. (Even CoD became a parody of itself over these years.) This is to encourage CoD player to play B3, that is all there is to it.
I really wish Armored Kill would come out first.. I hope the maps turn out to not be too clustered, and lose balance
wow do trailers make the gameplay look epic. Actually battlefield isn't ANYTHING like that.
1 Like I have a feeling in my stomach that this trailer is not an accurate representation of gameplay in these maps, I imagine it being a shotgun fest.
