Dice are brilliant at making game engines! I think that is whats going to make this game special. Just look what they did with Bad Company 2 graphicly. This is going to look even better! Its still going to be all about the multiplayer aspect of this fps that I will play most and should be very enjoyable.

@johnofwar OK, fist off, just some friendly advice. You really might want to think about brushing up on the basics of grammar. The countless grammatical fallacies made it a bit of a struggle to read through your lengthy loquacious rant there. But anyways, you're basically complaining about BF games being absolutely horrible and unplayable because of a lack of a couple graphical features? (i.e. extreme gore and mutilation/bulletholes) I really don't see how that is the sole dictating factor in determining the quality of a game. Games aren't just a bout graphics (of which these are amazing BTW) but also about how the game plays and is controlled., which is unaffected by minor graphical features. And objecting that BF3 is going to be terrible because BC2 was bad is just a shamelessly, blatant post hoc, ergo propter hoc. A grander fallacy than yours is few and far between. Seriously though, i can't fully understand what you were trying to convey in your strongly opinionated Ad Ignorantium. I would throughly enjoy an explanation of how those two inane factors can justify the claim that BF3 is bad.

So what? It has good graphics, blows you off your feet, shooting guys in the head and stuff. But who cares?! There are no bullet wounds, mess up, only destruction, no good style of seeing where you hit your enemy, or like when your team mate will die, its just the same like BC 2, wich REALLY sucks for me, because it is obvious it sucks, because I mean, yeah, the map is large, yeah, there are vehicles, yeah you can shoot their heads and use the weapons you collected but there is one thing that makes it bad, its kinda boring after, I mean, not saying its THAT BAD, BF was only for Multiplayer, COD was for Single Player, duh. But as long as these BF noobs keep making SP the more COD Noobs make MP, why cant you guys just stay on one position?! If I dont see the things like shooting yur arm off like that in BF 3, then I will say one thing, BF sucks, (Not the WW2 BF)

I am getting mad about this, once there are no bullet wounds, bullet traces, or any teammates dying in this game. I will $h1t on their heads and make them make COD good again. These guys are making it realistic, thats good, but Bad Company 2 made me hate Battlefield. Goodbye all BF games after the WW2 and Bad Company and hello this new thing.

But for COD, the one made by Treyarch themselves, are the top hit. But when Infinity Ward stepped in. It made COD look bad. The Story mode and multiplayer make it look good. The bad graphics, bad formatting. Really ruined it. The World at War was also a good hit, like Black ops or something, which made the game better. It brought the COD back on its feet. Yes I agree that MW 3 will suck, but as long as Treyarch do COD, it will be a hit!

I just dont like it. What I like about it is good graphics and stuff. The thing I hate about it its that the action is to typical. All FPS games are just like this. Not saying COD is good this time. I mean, none of your teammates die or something like that, no bullet wounds, not seeing the guts of your enemies fly away or something. The Battlefield of WW2 was epic for me, because it had nothing to be spoiled. But when I first played Bad Company 2, it just ruined my fav to BF 3, it might be just same $h1t.

Not much exciting for me. Go thumbs down it. Because one day COD will prevail on this dumb piece of crap. Another year of effin' off my seat for this rip off game.

Wow. not much of a military shooter kinda guy but this game looks amazing, even better then Killzone.

jesuschrist! It's looking amazing! But finally!!! the animation quality is (or at least IS) catching up with the level of graphics. I always found that the graphics look truely amazing of recent standard. However the animations still were (are) a bit jittery. A bit sharp. For example. Seeing a character duck, or face the other way. If a real human being had to turn or duck that quick, there'd be a sonic boom! So, I'm pleased to see that the animations are FINALLY catching up to the level of graphics.

@Psycold There is some of that in Resistance 3 too which is cool! Check the Fire Fight demo trailer! Brawler knocks Capelli on his ass in combat, non scripted, which will make action more intense! But on topic....I will be happy as long as "NOT ANY MORE" is in the MP!!! Surely that has to go around agaio!

its going to be BF3 vs MW3 this fall, and the battle is already won by dice, with infinity ward gone, i dont see how activision can churn out a COD sequel that can rival this. i just dont see it happening, regardless it will outsell BF3, simply because there's a lot of ignorant ppl in this world, that actually works for me though, it will keep the morons aways from BF3 online.

I wonder how many people reading this played the Desert Combat mod on BF1942. They need to bring in some of those old maps, like Lost Island and El Alemein. They need to get those jets in there, some F35s and F22s. Players need to be able to choose their loadout, experience, skills. Frostbite 2 on larger scale w/ better animations? Go on, I'm listening.

What is up with the "(Xbox 360)" next to the title? This an effin PC game!

I've always wanted a FPS game where you can be blown off your feet by explosions etc and still be able to get up and recover (As an unscripted event). I hope the end of the gameplay demo was not a 100% scripted event and that you can get realistically knocked around by the environment.

When he--the character you are controlling--is sprinting, it actually looks like he really is. It is not just his gun moving from side to side in a fast pace.
