Get to the troops before the PLR gets them first!
Awesome! Only weird part is 4:50 when he throws a grenade up to the guy on the balcony. The dude is just kinda chillin up there and doesnt really react when a grenade is thrown half a metre away from him.

BF3 TAKES OUT COD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cod is good but i rather chief a blunt and blow a black bird out the sky!!!!!!!!
When a shooter goes as realistic as this one, it will be a definite must buy for a lot of people. The one fact that everyone knows is that the COD fanbase is definitely bigger than the one that Battlefield has, so MW3 is going to outsell Battlefield 3. Mostly what Activision does with their games is advertise, advertise, advertise. All i know is since this game is coming out around the time of MW3, I'm going to choose Battlefield 3.
best mw3 trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkvF4B0lD9Q
There is just so much beautiful dynamic particle and lighting effects going on at the same time, I don't know how it couldn't draw you in. Not to mention the non player character movements look absurdly real. I really hope other player characters move that fluently when you play online. I really, really, cannot wait to play this game online and drop bombs on buildings with jets.
@GyroGate. WTF are you talking about. if u dont mind a game were u end up respawning 600 times a match then cod is ok i suppose. but its still just a silly over the top bag of shiiite. like my m8 running under neath the concrete floor im standing on and shooting me through it. cmon its rubish BF 3 cant wait.
I love Call of Duty! I love Battlefield! It's really pointless and a waste of time to compare CoD and Battlefield since they both really good games.
@GryroGate You can't really compare CoD to Battlefield as far as Multiplayer (Single player, Yes) 1. CoD reward system is completely dumb, why on gods green earth would I "prestige" only to get a damn emblem... when 95% of the people hack/cheat to get. 2.CoD- Power-ups...TOTALLY unrealistic...lunging 10 feet to knife some one, falling 30+ feet with out dying, death perks, kill-streaks, I could go on for ages here... Battlefield is a MORE realistic experience compared to the ARCADE multiplayer of CoD (and NO hardcore is not realistic when it still has perks). There for this argument is more based on personal preference then actual game mechanics. Because both games are design very will for there target audiences. I personal play both... Battlefield when I have time to enjoy a more tactical game. CoD when I just what to blow some people up with a never ending supply of 203's. Note: HANDS DOWN kills in battlefield are ten times more gratifying then in CoD, due to the effort, planning, and skill (WITHOUT the ad of perks).
@Sergeant_ Never ment any disrespect bro-daddy, just explaining why I believe CoD is the better choice out of the two games. Please do endulge me though, as to why you think I'm stupid.
@Sergeant_ hey i was just saying that from the limited info in this trailer it kinda looks like CoD, and the dialogue is more serious than previous battlefield games, no need to get agro PS i dont even have CoD i play halo
@Sergeant_ Meh, I don't really care for when the games where launched - not that it matters at all. Heck, I don't mind being called slow either - all I'm saying is that the whole reason CoD dominates over Battlefield, is due to it's multiplayer. Battlefield has never had good multiplayer - it's been chaotic vehicle fights without any means of leveling up your character or unlocking new weaponry. Battlefield doesn't have anything to reward you with, for spending your time with it online. If I want to drivee, I'll just go out and take my car for a spin. Hopefully Battlefield will indeed learn from CoD when it comes to the Multiplayer aspect, but as it is now; I'd never buy Battlefield 3 for the sole reason that the Multiplayer part(the part I easily would spend most of my time playing) is obsolete in comparison to CoD.
It looks like a first person Ghost Puerto Recon. Battlefield is headed toward sim territory. I definitely prefer these ultra realistic games.
Why do we always argue between cod and battlefield? I play both games and I like both games because each has it's own different play style. It just depends on your preference.
1-) We can sprint longer than 10-15 meters. 2-) I hope everytime an RPG rocket hits somewhere around me I fall down and get back up. 3-) Engaging graphics. 4-) Hoping for a good story. If I find these in this game, a surely buy for me, 2 are already found, 1 of them is in doubt and 1 we'll find out about a bit more later.
@Gyrogate Are you slow? Battlefield 1942 - released 2002 (First in Battlefield series, WWII) Call of Duty - released 2003 (First in COD series, WWII) Battlefield 2 - released 2005 (First modern Battlefield) Call of Duty 4 - released 2007 (First modern COD) If you haven't played much of Battlefield you should probably think before you speak...I don't even wan't to waste my time arguing with you other then the fact you should do a little research on both multiplayers and see the difference..
@Smiley451 DICE has already innovated so much to the Battlefield series, I don't understand how you could say they're "pumping money" into this game as if its a bad thing. Battlefield has reached its pinnacle and still strives to top off its prequels and does more then a great job at doing that. The single player in BF3 looks more authentic to other re-hashed modern shooters out there where you're practically a one-man-army that doesn't need cover or ammunition. The multiplayer has gigantic maps, big enough to fly planes and helicopters, maps where you can plan out flanking, ambushing, and other strategic attacks. There is no doubt this game will be nominated for GOTY yet again, just as its prequel. @S-181 Well you can go play "circle-jerk" with your butt buddies in COD while I'm flying apaches and F-10's in Battlefield 3. kthxbai
I bet games like this will represent the climatic end of the modern combat FPS wave. It looks awesome, it plays awesome, it sounds awesome, and everything else, but it's still an FPS in the middle of a modern war. Don't get me wrong, I'll play this game for months and I'll love every moment of it (except when I get fragged by better players, of course) but I understand that publishers are essentially pumping money into old games to try and make them new. Thumbs up if you'd like to see publishers allow Devs to innovate the industry more.
I find the running/sprinting a litle weird that he has his arms as far away from the rest of the body, atleast it is what I get of it when he runs exept for that it seems good
i dont care what fanboys or reviews say. im buying both bf3 and mw3 and multiplayering both to death.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXaFw7aC9GE&feature=channel_video_title Guys check this out, its more details about BF3 :)
**Slowly looks at CPU tower .... *** **Thinking ... I can get StarCraft 2 in all it's highest settings .... I should be good right ....***
Doesn't look like anything I've never seen. Typical war game. After seeing the previews for MW3 and BF3, I don't see "Game of the Year" potential in either one! They'll both be good games in their own ways, but I see nothing that screams "Game of the Year!!!" It takes more than just graphics!
I come here to watch this trailer everyday.....just for its awesome graphics and sound...and the last 1 minute is epic..
Whats that?........in the mail........Oh its the new Alienware M18x on its way with the AMD 6970M Crossfire. (yaaawns) Put your balls in my mouth Battlefield 3 .I dont care. I can handle it now.
@zombie8814 Xbox will not look this good, like you say this looks like it was played on a super powerful computer and it was.
@trivolution That is the dumbest comment I have ever seen. Just because this game is a FPS does not mean that this was copied from cod. This game will be a better FPS than MW3, which is running off the same engine of MW2. I think once you see the good reviews this game gets, and once you get sick of playing the new cod after a month, you'll probably reconsider your comment.
Is this footage really XBOX360? Looks just too good to be a console game. Looks like something you'd see on a $5000+ computer. It's like watching a movie.
LOL...... I can't wait to plant C4 on my jeep and go Kamikaze in this game. I use to do that in the good old days in BF2.
