I wish they'd add the scavenger game mode to the existing maps but apart from that, looks good so far!

one game when i was at DP map inside the tunnel a crazy but VERY skilled chopper pilot flew right inside the tunnel and was gunning us down and I happened to have my trusty RPG with me so i just gave him one in the face as he flew past me and he exploded into a fire ball that kept flying in the direction he was going...it was an epic James bond/ mission impossible moment
no body does it better than BF3 :D
i want earthquakes to happen as your playing, that would make it feel more intense. Also if new game mode dosent have random spots for guns . then it will just be like any old school shooter where you had to go to the "Gun spots" of maps. which will be blah
What's the story with the giant knife the soldier is carrying on the "cover art" for aftermath?

@blastmaster2k2 if you play BF3 on consoles you will face this problem cuz with only 24 players in the map you may not find anyone and get killed by a sniper 1000 meter away
but on pc with 64 player with every step you will find solders,tanks,APCs,helos and mines with tons of action
you don't need to move they will find you!!!

@jonnybutler11 @blastmaster2k2 Yeah I agree, if the maps are to big for you then get close quarters expansion but I haven't played a game on battlefield without meeting someone every few seconds, the maps are pure chaos...awesome chaos
Looks real swell. I thought that the armored kill maps were good but the gunship was crap and tank superiority was awful. Scavenger looks actually really fun

1 Like scavenger sounds alot like how fps's originaly started, start with a crap weapon, find the guns and ammo scattered around the map. anyone else picking this up?
Can't wait till I can get my hands on this drop. Looks better than Armored Kill IMO. Which I was sort of disappointed. Those large maps really need 32 or even 64 players per game. Too much driving and running around.. not enough action. Aftermath looks more medium sized maps. yay!

Now if the aftershocks were random in frequency, severity, and location and could possibly cause more destruction depending on where they struck and the severity of them that would be awesome. Imagine your in a building and an aftershock happens to strike and parts of the building start to break apart...... or your driving along and one strikes causing the terrain your driving on to suddenly shift... well you get the idea.

I wonder if you can still gain XP in the new game mode? Seeing as there are no classes in it you wont be able to rank up your classes but can you still gain XP for your main level to use in other game types?
@thenathmeister1 i think you get to choose which class you want to start with and you'd get xp for that class if you find a weapons and get kills with it it will unlock xp for just that weapon
1 Like @p4kman88 Yeah that sounds about right, but what if you're a level 1 and you havent unlocked any new weapons yet? How can you upgrade weapons you don't have yourself?
@thenathmeister1 In Close Quarters when you first played Gun Master you didn't have most of those weapons. But each kill still counted for the weapon.
not really impressed with a bow and a new game mode. But then again im not the target market being sold to.
@vadagar1 listen squinty even battlefield is in the 'arcade' genre. I play shooters in the 'simulator' category.
