Short boring single player mode was the first issue I had with this game. Superb graphics and the destructible environment is always a winner. The bugs in multi-player are quite frustrating, the forums are over run with complaints and there is little to no feedback from the devs to correct the endless issues players have. The reality has been removed from the weapons in multi-player as they have tried to make all weapons equal, I hate to be the one to say it... but... all weapons were not created equal, if I shoot you with a sniper rifle at point blank requires 2 shots...or a shotgun at under 10 meters range requires 3 shots to kill..., you should die first go from either of these examples. I have no idea how they decided that this would not be the case. Apart from the very silly weapon equality setup, multi-player is fun and (when you aren't suffering from one of the many bugs the game has) can be quite addictive. I would suggest waiting for a sale as full price for this game is a disgrace, with EA double dipping by getting you to pay another $50 for the expansion I would certainly not recommend it.
I'm not even going to review the single-player as I have little interest in it. Battlefield 3 is an excellent sequel to BF2, returning are the 32vs32 and the ability to go prone, two things desperately missing from B... Read Full Review
