Solid game, but nothing miraculous. Multiplayer only review.

User Rating: 8 | Battlefield 3 PC
As a Battlefield 2 and BCBC2 Veteran, I didn't come into BF3 with any hype. I purchased it to strictly play Battlefield. BF3 in a way delivers that substance of play BF2 had on large-scale maps, especially if you own the Karkand DLCs. I do however, really like the fact that DICE made TEAM DM modes on smaller versions of the maps, so basically feels like I can switch from playing Battlefield, to mindless CoD style play. Good plus.

The Pros:
-Graphics are great.
-Multiplayer is solid, I have yet to touch SP. Like I mentioned, if you want to play Arena-style at a touch of a button, go play Team DM servers.
-Conquest and Rush modes are still fun
-Improved gun customization and ranking system

Cons:
-Prone, they should have never implemented this. It's a Recon(Snipers) candyland, which I hate cause Snipers have no balls.
-Origin/Battlelog; very annoying, I dislike using my web-browser as a launching tool for a game, should have kept it real DICE.
-Hackers; they plague almost 1-5 games Im in, let the reporting begin.

Overall BF3 is a good series for fans of FPS games on a multiplayer scale. Worth buying.
