Battlefield 3 is the game you want it to be; and you play it your way.
I'll talk about Multiplayer, 'cause Battlefield was, is and it's going to be all about Multiplayer; and the Multiplayer is amazing.
Battlefield 3 is for all kind of tastes. You like Vehicles? Take those Tanks and Jets and go to kick some @ss. Do you like infantry? Take your weapon and start hunting down the enemies. Do you like Teamplay? Squad up, organize and change the game. Lone Wolf? Find a nice spot and snipe 'em all. Battlefield is the game you want it to be, and you play it your way.
The visuals are spectacular. I'm pretty sure we're talking about the best ones on an Online FPS game. Crysis seems too small infront this scale and way less realistic. The variety of vehicles, weapons and unlocks is huge. You'll need months to unlock every new ability and add-on for every vehicle, weapon or your solder himself. The ranking is pretty good; smooth, keeps giving you a motive to move forward. The Maps are great as well. Some of my favs: Kharg Island, Seine Crossing, Noshahr Canals and Grand Bazaar. You can find all kind of maps: Huge, open scale, vehicle and jet friendly or more infantry focused maps, based just on your fight abilities. Battlefield 3 is not a game you get bored with very easily. There're so much things to do first...
Battlelog seems cool. A Facebook for you Battlefield Solder, joining groups (platoons), check on detailed stats, join your friends, find other people to play with and more. We will see if gaming through browsing is the future, right now, i cant judge; time will show.
I didn't except Battlefield 3 so really good, to be honest. I'm impressed with the detail, the just right gameplay (although some improvements are welcome), and this classic element that is still there and makes Battlefield 3 a Battlefield.
There's no other experience like that out there, Battlefield 3 provides amazing moments, and it gets even more better with nice teamwork. It worths its money for sure, and it's perfect for Hardcore FPS gamers to Casual ones.
