User Rating: 8.5 | Battlefield 3 (Limited Edition) X360
What is there to say about Battlefield which others didn't know before it's release, not much. Battlefield was everything anyone could expect from a good FPS. Which was it's flaw, it was a decent FPS.

Battlefield starts strong with your character running through the streets, and falling onto a train. The game becomes intense and immersive, thrusting u into a conflict between USMC and People Liberation Resistance (PLR). Being a marine brat, I'm already intrigued. The story is promising while u dodge bullets, rockets, even earthquakes. However, as the vial falls, you quickly grow disappointed as u gaze upon what is Battlefield's story. Battlefield is pretty such a bad 24 plot. The game becomes a predicable concept, its a bad book you just have to finish. I'm not going to say anymore about to story in order to keep away from some major spoilers. Lets just say, there is a story. (There is a hit though, in my title.)

On a side note of the multi-player, I can say I have never played such a massive and intense multiplayer since early modding days of the classic Call Of Duty. If u did not get the chance to play classic multiplayer CoD or the older Battlefields, now is ur chance. With the state of the art graphics, and immersive feel of Battlefield, it makes up for the flaws of the game's campaign.

Though i disagree with a lot of gamespot's ratings, I do feel the 8.5 hits the mark for Battlefield. I enjoy the multi-player over CoD's, but hate it's campaign, and love Modern Warfare's. Though i enjoy one multi-player over the other, it does not mean one is better then the other. Some enjoy going in, playing a few rounds, and moving on, such as CoD. Others prefer the drawn out realistic game which Battlefield delivers. Therefore the only true thing either of these games can truly be judged on, is their campaigns. Which lets face it, there is a reason 24 isn't on the air anymore.
