Having played all the previous Bf games, this one came as a great disappointment. While the graphics and maps are beautiful, and the single game mildly entertaining, the multiplayer is a nightmare if you are an honest player. The kill lag is astounding, the worst ever, and you are frequently killed many seconds after you have ducked out of sight behind a concrete bunker or building... The animations are just plain dumb and cause you to be frequently killed in spawns or revives or just getting up off the ground. The worst part of all is the unbelievable cheating which is rampant on just about all of the hundreds of servers. Even though this is frequently brought to the attention of EA and Dice, they are incredibly casual toward the cheaters, who buy/steal hacks readily off the internet. For example, there is a second patch forthcoming in the next few days, which covers like 200-300 tweaks and other changes. NOT ONE of these tweaks deal with the cheaters, who apparently are a big revenue source for EA and DICE. And still, most servers are dominated by cheaters with wallhacks, aimbots, vehicle hacks galore, the whole works. This of course ruins the game for any honest player who refuses to give up his self-worth to win a video game. Unfortunately, there are thousands of hackers who do not have such a conscience. As a couple of cheaters told me when I accused them of hacking - "Dude, everybody hacks..." When you get a chance, visit Youtube and look for "bf3 hacks or cheats" and you will find many varieties of cheats that ruin the game... There are tons of other problems with the game but they are puny when compared to the cheating problem. Thus, I cannot recommend this game to anybody...
