Definitely worth any shooters time.

I was an XBOX Halo shooter for about 2 years before I started branching out. I played some COD and got into it back in the MW3 days. I was introduced to Battlefield 3 over a year ago and I hated it at first. It's nothing like Halo or COD. But the more I played it the more I loved it. It's really one of those games that you have to commit to and give it an honest chance to love it. I love the teamwork based game play. It's a game that actually encourages people to game with each other... weird, I know. lol You're going to get tools every once and a while, but for the most part the Battlefield community is really laid back compared to Halo and COD. It has different game modes and map packs so I recommend getting premium if you can. Well worth the money. You have assignments to unlock weapons and camos. The more you play, the more you get. There are a range of sized maps from big to small fitting everyone's game style. I'm a fan of conquest game types, but there is also TDM, Rush, Squad Rush, Squad Deathmatch, Gunmaster, Scavenger... Games can last from 20min to 2 hours. If you're a shooter, you'll love this game.
