Quick time events were not a good play mechanic in Dragon's Lair, and they still aren't now.

The difficulty is much higher than any other FPS on the market, which would be fine if it wasn't so cheap. You are a bullet magnet while your AI squadmates are never targeted. Unless the script calls for them to get hurt.

On top of the frustrating difficulty you aren't able to change it before a mission, so if you foolishly chose even Normal then you are stuck with it unless you want to start over. Excellent decision Dice.

Not only are your AI squadmates invisible, they are also worse shots than even a mediocre player, such as me. Oh and if that wasn't enough they also get in your way. More than once I lined up a shot and pulled the trigger only to have a squadmate run in front of me and get shot.

Can't forget the bugs. Nothing like clearing an MG nest only to have the event not be recognized so it won't go away from the to do list. Or going prone and floating outside of a windows only to fall when you try to move.

But the cherry on the sunday is the fact that there are too many quicktime events. Quick time events were not a good play mechanic in Dragon's Lair, and they still aren't now.

I didn't bother with the multiplayer because if its anything like the beta was last year it was nothing but snipers and was absolutely no fun. Just remember developers; "realism" in this type of game means that it only pays to play as a sniper.

Great looking game, especially considering its a year old and my rig isn't great. But it's flaws make it less than enjoyable.
