I have it unlocked just now but i cant use it?
Is it only usable on the new maps?

It's in your equipment slot. Instead of C4, medkit, spawn beacon, you can choose to use the Xbow.

Oh thank God, I thought it was just me. I usually type out crossbow just so I don't have this problem.
