This games ingenuity and balanced classes make this game a joy to play.

To describe Battlefield 2 in just one word would be a disservice. This game is, quite frankly, the most beautiful game of its time. And I'm saying this come 2010 with MW out and Arma 2. This game has, in my opinion, the most consistent multiplayer out there with constantly full massive 64 player battles that have remained online since this games debut. When you join one of these large map battles your treated to serious chaos with bullets flying and tanks galore. The game provides weapon unlocks which include upgraded assault rifles and steadier snipers. The game doesn't do well in terms of ranking and a newb player could spend hours achieving private first class. Special awards are plentiful however and provide a sense of achievement when you sacrifice you life but detonating a C4 mid car ride. The new 1.5 update combined the two expansion packs making an already lengthy map list even lengthier. Great mod support and map editor make for some great modifications that will keep you playing. Lack of singleplayer makes the game a bit weak when playing alone and you'll often find the AI too easy short of expert setting. The expansions' new guns aren't as graphically delicious as the original and special forces (Compared to MW the P90 in Armored Fury looks like a gun straight outta Half life) but they still provide fun new ways to blow stuff up. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants some serious modern warfare. On another note this game apparently has issues on Windows 7 64 bit. I myself have a Windows 7 and have encountered no issue but in the even you do. Dont go to compatibility. Just run under administrator. Thanks for reading! Please rate
