Battlefield 1943 Welcome to Iwo Jima (PC)

Oh man... this does look tempting, but Im gonna hold back. I can see this as a "testing the waters" release, guessing there will be more coming seeing as it was so successful. Hope it meets the hype.

The reason its only 3 maps, is cause its the 3 best maps ever to grace an fps.. why would you want to play any other maps?

i agree with haqtiq. i mean seriously people.. u need to stop complaining about every little detail.. i mean this isnt even a full game on a CD.. this is a downloadable game on the PS3/X360. i mean just to have them make a 1st person shooter as good as this.. for downloadablity on Xbox Live / PSN just to keep us busy while they finish up on BF:BC 2 over the summer.. & u ppl are complaining about 3 maps.. i mean come the fre*k on people.. if u think 3 maps are to little.. then ya know what.. just be bored playing all ur old games over the summer instead of this fre*king awesome arcade first person WW2 shooter! ok. god. people always find something to complain about in a game. & plus this is Electronic Arts working With Microsoft.. Ya all know ya gonna get some f DL's for this game! like new maps.. so just stop complaining.. i mean seriously.. & just be glad were getting this to keep us busy over the summer at all. K!?!?!?

to anyone saying that 3 maps isnt enough is crazy, you can find bf2 games RIGHT NOW with a bajillion people on just 3 maps. You can basically say they are putting their best foot foward by doing it a small 3, rather than 15. Besides isnt this EA/MS we are talking about, in 2 months there will be 6 maps to dl for another $15.

@ bargasboyz...I'm not sure what you mean when you call this a full size game. It isn't being marketed that way, and it only costs $15.00. Find another $15.00 game that looks this good, has this level of interactivity with the environment, and provides this much action. And if this model suceeds, you can count on downloadable content. Even TF2, with it's immense number of maps and new content at $20.00, can't match some of the things the Frostbite engine is pulling off.

First of all, how often have there been first person shooter arcade games?? Who cares if there are only 3 maps! The chance to relive the PC 1942 is insane...And, haven't you heard of Downloadable Content??

i love the game but i see no point in buying a full size game with only three maps,,,i've played all battlefield games and not one of them only has three maps why tease make the game dont do this to real gamers,,just do us a favor and rethink your decisions please if it only has three maps im sorry to say,no thanks!!!!!

@justinmanzer - june for ps3 &Xbox, september for pc. And its a downloadable game because it only has three maps. The developers said it isn't supposed to be a REAL game, they're just testing out some new engine mechanics.

Wow! That does not look a thing like IWO JIMA. There are no big lush forests on Iwo Jima. It means sulphur island in Japanese. So yeah no plants. This game may be fun but sure as heck not realistic.

This game looks so awesome. Only thing I don't like is that you don't earn weapons with levels in this battlefield :(

Completely dectructble enviroment, lots of vehicles, and you don't even have to get of your couch to buy it.

This game was fun on PC, it will be fin on the 360! So many memories.

Still playing BF2 most nights to this day. Still a Master SGT so you know Im not hacking :-).... But really looking forward to this DICE RAWK!

@Unheard-Volume I agree. Im pretty sure that "something" was that it felt as though the game was lagging even when it wasn't. A little slow and clunky. This game looks like its been fixed tho. Can't wait for it.
