Battlefield 1943 Announcement Trailer (PC)

I hope there will be an option to disable only certain vehicles, in bf2 the jets were really spoiling the game and with the infantry only option you can only play some of the maps, cause the rest were too big.

loved blowing stuff up in bad company but didnt like the game and i loved 1942 put 'em toghether...........equals one great game!

Everyone please email DICE directly at info@dice.se. Tell them we want a Multiplayer Map Creator just like Far Cry 2. If you've played FAR CRY 2, you know what I am talking about. You can design your own multiplayer maps for anyone to play on, this would be GREAT with Battlefield. Also ask for teams to have different camoflauge to stop that annoying team kill when in close quarters. Also ask for Team Deathmatch game mode! Thanks

Whats the difference between this and Battlefield 1942. It looks like they still have Wake Island and Iwo Jima.

But anyway my prayers were answered when i saw they were making this. I hope they upgrade everything to be more historicaly accurate, using a Lee Enfield no.4 rifle when your American is just weird.

i hope this game turns out good! i just hope and pray that DICE will add zoom for all weapons! dont get me wrong Bad Company was Great but the lack of zoom on all weapons wasn't!

a revamped version of 1942 could be decent. I used to be a hardcore player of 1942, Vietnam and 2, but stopped after there were sparks of an overall consensus of the game getting boring. Personally I think they're gonna have to add some really neat new factors to keep it fresh. Overall the game can't be compared with CoD. It's just that the combat in Battlefield is so much more vehicle and team oriented than it is just weapon oriented.

Thanks yichun4! This battlefield looks really awesome! There's some great sound improvements (if the sounds on video is the same as gameplay). Hope see more aircraft fighters on maps and higher number of players per map on-line (more than 64 XD)

Now come on guys, Call Of Duty: WaW is a really well-made game. It gets bashed way too much just because it's another WW2 game. It's really sad that Treyarch goes down in the books as the company that didn't live up to it's predecessor, when really it's got the same fun multiplayer (not quite as good, but still amazing) - And a much more detailed campaign... don't get me wrong I like COD4: MW a little better, but it doesn't "suck" by any means. ANYWAYS, I think BF: 1943 is gonna be real fun - it reminds me of Warhawk

This game has a lot to live up to. It looks like there keeping the formula from BF2 and BF2142, Should be good.

come on guys ur known for making intense games but still man bf games shd have storyline like bad comapny i really liked that game wish more games would come like that

Looks hella intense and i really hate WW2 games except for the Call of Duty series but the developers are pushing the WW2 stuff way to far i like Modern Warfare, but this game might also be an exception too considering the amount of players and vehicles that can be on the battlefield all at once. It looks just like a downsized version of a real WW2 battle.

Is there some sort of pattern here? I mean after 1943 are they going to release BF3, and then 2143? But in all honesty, this game was probably the last thing I was expecting from EA.

If you are looking for a real battlefield sim then this will surely dissapoint. The battlefield games arent meant to simulate real life although they are still fun to play in clans. Ill be waiting for arma2 and OFP2. I may give this a shot although after the BF2 days i have grown out of the series.

Xboxbilly05 I agree that it is a very team oriented game, but unless you're in a clan most servers out there will have a lot of people who like to do the whole lets go run around wherever without any thought about what's going on in the game! I've had people take vehicles that can house more than one person and drive off on their own and what not.

no, thegamecritic, those screens on GI are from battlefield 1943, bad company was set in modern times so im guessing the second will be as well, GI prob just messed up and put up the wrong pic

Ok Im confused. At GameInformer's site they just released screens for battlefield:Bad Company 2. Yeah fully agree with frank, all true BF games need a 64 player option otherwise there isn't enough players for all the classes and vehicles. Here's to hoping the PC version will support 64 players.
