The best game on Live Arcade, hands down.

User Rating: 8.5 | Battlefield 1943 X360
As a fan of the Battlefield series, this game does not disappoint. For only 1200 points (15 bucks) you get 3 maps (fourth on the way, if the community can pull it together), 3 classes (each very unique), and 3 vehicles. But whats really there is a flawless gaming experience (this being said as Dice is still fixing the server issue, which we all know they will). They've used the Frostbite engine as premiered in Battlefield Bad Company. Which means there is tons of destruction in the WWII setting. The graphics and style is crisp and fluent. Quite the delight to watch things blow up, especially a crashing air plane coming down beside you as it blows up gracefully into a building.
I was actually quite shocked at how fantastic it played, as a download game I did not expect it to play like a hard copy game, like any other Battlefield game.
The issues I have to start is that there is not a good player count, I think it is 16 or 24 (big difference but I'm not sure). Either way in a Battlefield game that is too small of a player count. It is by no means hard to find an enemy it is just that it feels smaller with so little players on large maps. This makes the maps feel larger than they are. Sometimes I would get killed and spawn at a base, to find I'm stranded with no vehicle and have to hoof it to a battle. There is also the whole thing of how little the content in total really is. I've played quite a lot of the game so far, not 100 matches but many. It is not getting boring yet, but it became familiar very quickly. Even though there is a ranking system there aren't any additional weapons or perks to be unlocked. You just go up in rank, end of story.
It feels like a professional game, with very little content and fantastic game play.
That being said, the price is right and you will get more than your moneys worth with this game and you must buy this now.
