Nice iteration of Bad Company. Less tech and weapon classes but playability is great. Three maps are awesome.

User Rating: 9 | Battlefield 1943 X360
Replayability: Yes
Price: $15 = just right
Difficulty: Easy to pick up, but more difficult to master vehicles
Weapons: Balanced between classes, but sub-machine gun is severely underpowered.
- Sniper rifle is fun and accurate, although firing rate is s-l-o-w (similar to rifles of the time)
Maps: Only three ground-based, but good variety
- Maps are scattered with stationary machine guns and AA guns, which can change the momentum of the battle
- Plenty of hiding places and elevation changes
- Each map has bombing raid radio tower...interesting twist
- Most everything on maps are destructible --> AWESOME!
Vehicles: Land, air, and sea
- Tank - 2 person, main gun w/ machine gun plus top mounted machine gun (very exposed for 2nd person)
- Jeep - 3 person, driver, side seat, and machine gunner
- Fighter plane - 1 person, machine guns and bombs (difficult to control)
- Water landing craft - 5+ people, driver, two machine gunners, 1-4 people in bay area
Multiplayer: Good but not perfect
- Play in 4-person squads to communicate and spawn on each other (squad spawn is very useful)
- Enter games with friends -->occasionally BF will split up your squad and you have restart the match together again

Bottom Line - Fun to play. Once I get bored playing as a sniper, I try a different class, and the gameplay/strategy is really different. Maps have good variety to allow each class to have an advantage somewhere. For $15, a good value. I wish more maps would come out...maybe two to three more. Buy it.
