A mechanically sound and functional FPS for only $10. If it had cost a penny more, I would've called it a rip-off.

Some people won't be able to justify spending $10 on this game. Somehow, I found this game to be worth $10, but not a penny more.

I played the game the first time on Normal difficulty, and I beat it in 41 minutes. Yes, I am correct in saying just 41 minutes (19 minutes shy of an hour).

However, I totally enjoyed going back and playing it again and again. This is a quick and easy (and I mean easy) shooter to pick up when you're just trying to kill a little time and you just want to shoot stuff.

Certain parts of the game start to become slightly repetitive, but just when they do the game throws a little twist in by having you jump on the turret of a Humvee or grabbing a rocket launcher to take down the alien's Air Force-equivalent.

The controls are functional, no more and no less. I had to turn the sensitivity up just a tad, as the movement of my aim seemed a little sluggish if compared to Call of Duty or Battlefield franchises.

So for an easy and short game, you're probably still wondering why I still speak of this game in a positive manner. Well, there is one more thing that actually blew me away for a budget game like this............The graphics! WOW, I was really impressed by how good the game looks.

I have a feeling that a trend may be starting................

Movie licensed games have always had a bad reputation, so how about budget releases instead on the console networks for a fraction of the price? I have to say that Battle: Los Angeles took the trend one step further, but much can still be learned from this. If this is becoming a trend, next time I want to see a game that lasts 3 times longer than this one on my first play-through.
