Should be proposed as Arcade Game. What a waste on a Next Gen. Japanese voices extremely irritating.

I bought Battle Fantasia for my 10 year old boy, who is fan of Manga looking games. On first approach, it is indeed a Manga looking 2D fighting game. This impression is enhanced by the Japanese voices of the characters, it is exotic the first 10 minutes…at the 11th minutes it is extremely irritating and at 11 minutes and 2 seconds, I personally muted my TV. I could not stand it anymore.

On the level of gameplay it is not fun either; it requires very high reflexes and agility (for boosted teenagers), definitely not my case. The problem is that my 10 year old boy, although falling in the boosted teen category also has a problem with the gameplay… the high stamina required combined with the useless additional stress generated by the irritating Japanese high pitch voices, makes the game unplayable without throwing the game pad at the TV screen (which is what my son almost did).

Nothing to say about the 2D cheap graphical, just enough for ARCADE game, not for a "full" game. What a waste for a Next Gen system.

I leave the final word to my son: "Daddy I shouldn't have chosen this game".
