This game is an Instant Classic! It's revolutionary, it's addictive, and easily, One of The Best Video Games Ever!!!
The game starts with this big tittle screen that either lets you play 1-player, 2-player, or construct your own level, but it is only used to replace the true 1st level. If you have a friend by your side, start playing and enjoy. There are a total of 50 levels I think, and it gets harder and harder as you complete it. There are alot of power-ups from invincibility to increase the power of your tank.
The goal is to destroy every enemy tank in each level...that's it! No story. This is also, in my opinion, one of the most important games ever to the industry, because it was one of the first games to proove that you don't need a story to have a great game that will make you play it more than a 1000 times!!!
The grafics and the sound are, really, the true flaws in the game. The grafics are just bad for a NES game and there's lack of music in the game. But who needs those when the game is just fun as hell?! This is why this game was so important. Video games are supposed to be fun, and this game doesn't need grafics, sound or story to be, what I'm proud to call, The Most Important NES Game Ever Created.
In overral, this is an instant classic! A great multiplayer that will make you play it with your friend and begging for it to just continue on, and on, and on. One of The Best Video Games of All Time!!! Period.
