Final Fantasy is the recreation of the original Final Fantasy released a couple of decades ago, when the game was in 8-bit. There has been many changes and the result is what I love to play. Like the original, you pick your party of four from the six types of characters; Warrior, Thief, White Mage, Black, Mage, Red Mage, and Monk. The interface of the game is pretty much like the original, traveling, random encounters, fighting interface. There is a large addition to the game, after you defeat the major crystal dungon bosses, there are four different other dungeons located in hidden places in the world. When exploring, you meet up with many new and different monsters and enemies, and gather rare and powerful weapons, armor, and items. Remastered in sound, game-play and graphics, the possiblities are endless to what you can accomplish.
Final Fantasy 2 was a game never released in North America, only in Japan. Now with this new chapter, we learn more about the world of Final Fantasy. In the game, you play as three orphans named Firion, Guy, and Maria are forced from their home as the Emperor and his vast armies of demons and warriors, plan to take control over the world. A rebellion is formed against the Empire, and the three orphans fight along side the rebels to restore peace to their land. The game interface of this game differs from any other game I've played. For example, depending on what weapon or spell the character uses, the skill level increases with every certain number of kills or usage of the spell. For stats, health and mana, your stats increase depending on what actions in combat you take, your health increases depending on how many times you lose health points, and for mana, how much mana you use. I feel its just as bad as that stat building element in the rpg Tomb Raider game.
Final Fantasy I and II is a great game and I recommend it to anyone who is a die heart Final Fantasy fan!
