Batman: The Video Game

As far as Mega Drive (Genesis) games go Batman is a good example of what the system could produce. The game is in the style of the classic Sega scrolling beat-em up Steets of Rage but it has to be said that it never really matches it.

Even the old days movie licences never really lived up to the hype. Batman is a good representation of the 1989 movie of the same name and is entertaining as a game but quickly becomes repetitive.

If you're a nostalgic Batman fan like myself then its worth a look but the game is never as fun as the Batman titles which followed it.
