Grab a batarang and clean up the streets of Gotham in this video review for Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Just got this yesterday...pretty fun game, is nothing espectacular, but is a fun game, very old school both in gameplay and graphics, such a great feeling and for the price i pay...man, anyone should give this game a try.
lol looks kinda fun
I can't believe he forgot to mention the fantastic voice acting!
Looks like it might be some fun at the right price. That said... I hated the voice of the guy who reviewed this game... it sounded like he was slowly reading from a written up review... which is lame.
The graphics I gotta say are pretty awesome! I think they should've made a game like this except it was the old animated series! That was my favorite show of all time... EVER!!!
I am suprised they made a video review for this game they don't make that many Wii Video reviews.
visuals look good but i dont think ill ever play this game
You're right, this feels like an old snes games. It seems funny for multiplayer, I don't know for solo playing. I think I will only rent it.
how i love and miss snes
@JMCDS45 I'm talking about gameplay only, for me this is the ideal batman game

nice
great how they got looking the same as the cartoon but really this game is just a side scrolling button masher..SHAME!
funny
lol
lol, rich orphan!
reminds me of the captain america and the avengers arcade game!
@manilove2d Not really, Arkham Asylum is the only game that shows how Batman really is becouse is based on the comics, this one is based on the cartoons which is for kids, and Batman is not for kids.
This game would be great for the PSN!!
@ Dasteret If you want a SERIOUS Batman game get AA But if you want a FUNNY Batman game get this
If you like terrifically pun-filled jokes and quips that are so cheesy to the point of being awesome, you will like The Brave and The Bold.
Ech, why make a game out of a childs show. The show wasnt good, and neither is this. Plus its 2D. You want a good batman game, get arkham asylum
@Nosnitsttam Totally with you on The Batman. That thing just didn't exist, in my eyes. Brave & the Bold, though, I totally dig. We don't need the dark, brooding Batman all the time. We've got the Animated series and the movies for that. B&tB is meant to be a much lighter, fun look, hearkening back to the Silver Age. Are the stories as good as the Animated series? Heck, no. But they're fun. I mean, come on. They had him team up with Ace the Bat Hound!
The co-op camera that struggles to keep both players on screen is a small problem? I think it's a huge problem! Or maybe you meant it's a problem but it happens infrequently.
@littleduck - The Batman was AWFUL. it was a solid premise (continuing the events of the new batman movies) ruined by awful voice acting and worse artwork. i don't like this show either. there are 2 good batman cartoons: Batman from the 90s and Batman Beyond
now THIS is a Batman game (im only talking about gameplay) Just got the DS version and I love it, can't wait to get the Wii version also
McShea had to bring up being a rich orphan....
I hated this series. It was what destroyed The Batman, a very clever and layered version of Batman. So this will not be got.
looks like they pulled the video
Lol yeah i thought the audio might be on purpose.
@jmaybury thanks for the heads up. can happen. good luck fixing it.
@uberjannie, @ youaddme, @PcGamingRig, @SilentKing16, and everyone else. Sorry for the bad audio. We changed some things around in audio room and my file came out really distorted. I tried to fix it best I could in the middle of the night. The only way to fix it though is to re-record the audio, which I'll be doing shortly. Apologies again, I just wanted to test you guys to see if you were paying attention. =)
Very oddly done here.
Something is wrong with the voice recording -.-
The Video Review isn't up... is it being re-recorded now?
It's such a shame that the game is so easy, and while it looks fun, sadly, i'm not paying full price for such an easy game, maybe later when it hits the 20$ but definetely, not now.
this is the crappiest review i have ever seen
why does it sound like i'm listening to the review from the next room? :)
why does the review sound muffled?
How it all started: Editor on the phone: Tom, where are you!? Tom: Sorry I'm late, traffic jam. Editor: We have to do this review right now, else IGN will have the review earlier than us! Tom: No prob, let's do it now. Editor: ... Ok let's do it (NO! Just NO!)
why does Tom sound like they locked him in a basement?
@jmaybury "Sorry for the botched voice over on the video review guys..." I was seriously thinking that you were on the phone doing the review or something. LOL!
I wish I had a Wii. I'd love to unwine at the end of the day with this game.
Presentation seems like one of the best I've seen for a 2D game in years.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold seems boring
@TehReaper @plasticarmyguy Sorry for the botched voice over on the video review guys. We changed some stuff in the audio room and it really peaked my file. I tried to control it but it just didn't work. I'll try to get Tom in to re-record when he has a moment. I'll fix it up as soon as I can. Thanks
The games does have a good presentation. It looks like you're actually moving a cartoon.
Too bad this isn't on XBLA, I'd probably give it a go just for the comedy.
I predict like 5 hundred comments about the quality of the narration.
What happened to your mic?
