Really and I mean seriously, did the Riddler like mess the controls up?

User Rating: 1 | Batman Forever SNES

My 57th review after Street Fighter IV.

Okay, when I saw the review of this game at the Angry Video Game Nerd video, I figured and found out this is a really bad Batman game due to the repetitive game-play, horrible graphics, annoying controls, and bad music. This is based on the movie, which the movie is good, but this game is bad. You can play as either Batman or Robin, and the game has weird combinations of buttons that is like making a cheat code. Also every time the game loads, the screen says "Hold On". This game really sucked back then and it sucks forever, and it is really gonna get an F--. Here the results:

Game-play 1/10: Just plain repetitive that it plays like Mortal Kombat. That's what makes this game a Mortal Kombat rip-off.

Graphics 1/10: The graphics are just horrible! Donkey Kong Country has better graphics than this one does.

Controls 1/10: The controls are like EXTREMELY ANNOYING!! You press Up to Jump, Select to use the Grappling Hook, and A, B, X, and Y to Punch and Kick. That's just plain ANNOYING!!

Sound/Music 2/10: The music is bad, it is even badder!

Lasting Appeal 1/10: The worst Batman game ever!

Overall, Batman Forever the game is the worst superhero game next to Superman 64.

The Good:

-There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING good about this game

The Bad:

-Tedious game-play that rips-off Mortal Kombat

-Annoying controls

-Awful graphics

This is nothing but a Mortal Kombat rip-off, and you're better off playing the Mortal Kombat game series and Batman: Arkham Asylum. If you want a better Batman game, play Arkham Asylum instead. But Batman Forever on the SNES, do not get this game because it's the worst Batman game ever made and it sucked back then and it sucks forever.

Batman Forever the game gets a 1 out of 10!
